Includes the portrait of Duranti which is commonly lacking, placed at the beginning of the Epistola. This copy, like that of Houghton, has engraved initials pasted over the typographic ones on pages cxx, cxxix - cxxxvii, cxli - clix (also one on clx) but not ccxvii. These covers are not bowed, as this book resides in a blue cloth covered slipcase, also in Very Good Condition ++. Rhymes by Count Durante Duranti Patrizio Bresciano Dedicated to the Sacred Royal Majesty of Charles Emmanuel King of Sardinia &c. &c. &c. Seconda Edizione. Frontespizio inciso da B. It was followed by the separate series of plates after paintings, the 'Königlich Bayerischer Gemälde-Sammlung zu München und Schleissheim' in 1817-24.
