Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -This paper attempts to look at the information imbalance within India particularly between different regions of northeast India. It studies the amount of coverage given to northeast in terms of various categories like popular movements, ethnic violence, tourism sector, sports and so on. It also studies the amount of space given to the northeast in the two national dailies of India. A quantitative content analysis method is adopted for the study. The two newspapers selected for the study are The Times of India and The Hindu. Altogether 58 issues of two newspapers for a period of one month were analyzed for the study. It was found that very less amount of editorial space was given to the northeastern region in both the dailies. So it brings to us the question - ¿Was Northeast India or Indiäs Northeast ¿Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 72 pp. Englisch.
