Thus, 61.3% have obtained or are in the process of obtaining temporary asylum status, and 15.6% have obtained or are in the process of obtaining a temporary residence permit or a residence permit in the country. Only 11.5% have not legalised their legal status on the territory of Russia.Only 1.9% of the respondents indicated that they had obtained or are obtaining refugee status, which, in our opinion, is due to a lack of understanding of the application of this term in the Russian legislation.
