Ur Johan Stiernstedts bibliotek, med hans exlibris. Författarinanna och dramatikern Alfhild Agrell (1849-1923) fick i början av 1880-talet framgångar på Dramaten med bl.a. pjäserna Räddad och Småstadslif. Efter en nedgång i popularitet nådde hon på 1890-talet nya framgångar med litterära kåserier och Norrlandsskildringar, nu ofta under pseudonymerna Lovisa Petterkvist och Stig Stigson. Första upplagan av ?I Stockholm? kom 1892 och var den första som hon gav ut under namnet Lovisa Petterkvist. Den blev en stor framgång och trycktes redan samma år i tre upplagor. Så sent som 1910 kom en sjätte upplaga. Redan före hennes död föll dock hennes författarskap i glömska och det var först på 1980-talet som hon åter började bli uppmärksammad. Hardcover / Hardback.
