Las investigaciones que se presentan permiten una aproximación al estudio de la delincuencia desde la perspectiva de las representaciones sociales, que considera las creencias de sentido común de la interacción habitual entre grupos, permitiendo explicar las decisiones y prácticas que se adoptan y su grado de coherencia con las posibilidades de resocialización en instituciones penitenciarias.
