Prutky, a Franciscan missionary, was sent on a mission to Ethiopia in 1751 after an invitation by the Ethiopian emperor. Although this adventure forms the bulk of the book there is also some interesting description of India and Ceylon and the voyages. The information on Ethiopia in that period is not available elsewhere. A picture of this book is available on request.
