The engraving came from the Timothy Hopkins Collection, Stanford University Libraries. 6 1/8" x 9 1/4." Seven pages, complete. Pages and covers are pristine and intact. A Fine copy. Colophon in the back: "Seven hundred fifty copies printed on Warren's Olde Style Wove with the types of William Caslon at Stanford University for The Associates of the Stanford University Library and the Department of Special Collections. One hundred fifty copies specially printed and bound for members of The Roxburghe Club of San Francisco." In the front is a brief introduction about the Stanford University Libraries' Bicentennial Exhibition which celebrated early American history and showcased "Revolutionary War diaries and California mission music, documents from the erstwhile State of Franklin and Spanish Alta California, signatures of the nation's founders and accounts of Pacific coast explorations" from the East and West Coasts. The rest of the pamphlet focuses on Roger Bull's diary. Excerpt: "One of the highlights of this Bicentennial Exhibition is the Revolutionary War diary of a Connecticut volunteer, Roger Bull. Running from January 18 to February 16, 1776, this handwritten journal, which is shown and quoted though the courtesy of Judge Acton M. Cleveland, documents the march of General Charles Lee from Connecticut to New York and the first two weeks of the occupation of the city.".
