Poster. The original announcement poster for an exhibition of work by the Brazilian-born New York-based artist Eli Sudbrack, aka Assume Vivid Astro Focus (AVAF), titled "Assume Vivid Astro Focus VII" and held at Deitch Projects, NYC, June 26 - August 15, 2003. The show was a multimedia installation that covered not only the interior walls of the gallery space, but the floors, windows, and exterior facade as well. It included a projection of AVAF and honeygunlab's collaborative video project "Walking on Thin Ice," wall drawings and wallpaper, a storefront tattoo parlor, and a giant haunted-house style facade with a multi-colored, scrolling neon sign. Single sheet; 11 x 17 inches. Condition: Fine/As New, folded twice as issued. Laid-in is a flyer from the artist distributed at the exhibition titled "AVAF's to do list VIII." Also included is: A review of a 2007 show; a 2013 review; and a full-page advertisement for a show by the artist in 2008. Will be sandwiched securely between stiff layers of cardboard and shipped the next business day.
