Viene rappresentato in quest'opera il ritratto di un uomo con il cappello dal quale escono alcuni riccioli. Il volto emerge grazie all'utilizzo di un tratto deciso per descrivere la base del copricapo e la parte alta dell'abito ed è ulteriormente indagato mediante tratti sfumati con il color pesca.
