The author founded the Tryon Gallery in London in 1959, specialising 'in the work of natural history artists of national and international stature'. This book details the world of nature through the year around the mill house on the river Avon which he restored and which appeared in the Domesday Book. There is background information to each aspect which adds a great deal of interest.
