Text in English and French with an essay by Michel Leiris and English transcripts of interviews of Bacon by David Sylvester recorded and filmed in London for BBC television. Includes some black and white photographs of Bacon, numerous color and black and white illustrations, list of list of previous exhibitions, and a checklist. Art critic, author and curator Peter Selz's copy with his former owner signature to the front free endpaper and with his highlighting to some of the text and some notations. Otherwise a near fine copy in wrappers in an about very good printed acetate dust jacket that has caused the usual splaying to the edges and with some chips and tears. Still, solid copy with a nice provenance.
