The boards are decorated with a floral and bird illustrations in black and brown coloring over a background that looks like tie-dyed silk with brown and gray/blue streaks. The boards are quite spectacular and hint of an exotic story. Corners are pretty good give the age with maybe a hint of rubbing. There is a book plate from a personal library on front paste down. Some penciled writing on the paste down and FEP. There is a perforation of about 1" on the rear end paper. The hinges are still in good shape, but the book should be handled with care.
