A study was conducted with the objective to analysis the impact of training programmes conducted by AICRP (Malabari Unit) on the overall knowledge gain regarding scientific goat management among goat farmers. The impact of training on knowledge level of the participant were found to be highly significant. In case of knowledge level of trainees of off-campus and on-campus training programme showed a medium to low trend before training. Whereas, it had a high to medium level trend in the knowledge test conducted after training. Most of the respondents were not satisfied for lodging facilities followed by boarding facilities, availability of reading materials and physical facilities in classroom. Majority of the respondents had medium to high favourable opinion about the training programme. Majority of the respondents preferred training programme to be organized in their own village followed by organizing training programme in summer season mostly after noon. El impacto de la formación sobre el nivel de conocimientos de los participantes resultó ser altamente significativo. En el caso del nivel de conocimientos de los participantes en los programas de formación presencial y no presencial, se observó una tendencia de media a baja antes de la formación. En la prueba de conocimientos realizada después de la formación, la tendencia fue de alta a media. La mayoría de los encuestados no estaban satisfechos con las instalaciones de alojamiento, seguidas de las instalaciones de internado, la disponibilidad de material de lectura y las instalaciones físicas en el aula. La mayoría de los encuestados tenían una opinión favorable de media a alta sobre el programa de formación. La mayoría de los encuestados prefieren que el programa de formación se organice en su propio pueblo, seguido de la organización del programa de formación en la temporada de verano, sobre todo después del mediodía. Une étude a été menée dans le but d'analyser l'impact des programmes de formation menés par l'AICRP (Malabari Unit) sur l'acquisition de connaissances générales concernant la gestion scientifique des chèvres parmi les éleveurs de chèvres. L'impact de la formation sur le niveau de connaissance des participants s'est avéré très significatif. Dans le cas du niveau de connaissance des stagiaires du programme de formation hors campus et sur le campus, la tendance était moyenne à faible avant la formation. En revanche, le test de connaissances effectué après la formation a révélé une tendance élevée à moyenne. La plupart des personnes interrogées n'étaient pas satisfaites des conditions d'hébergement, suivies des conditions d'internat, de la disponibilité de matériel de lecture et des installations physiques dans les salles de classe. La majorité des personnes interrogées avaient une opinion favorable moyenne à élevée sur le programme de formation. La majorité des personnes interrogées préfèrent que le programme de formation soit organisé dans leur propre village, et que le programme soit organisé en été, le plus souvent après midi.
