Disappearance of a horse and attendant, traces of blood and cougar tracks suggest the worst. Red Shirt discovers that the tell-tale cougar tracks end inexplicably to change into one made by boots, and helps Gene Autry snare unscrupulous, human predators. Strong copy of a marvelous tale.
