sonst. Bücher. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Obwohl seine Familie für ihn den Anwaltsberuf bestimmt hatte, gab Berbiguer das Jurastudium auf, um sich der Musik zu widmen. Er lernte autodidaktisch Flöte, Violine und Cello spielen. Erst mit 33 Jahren trat er ins Konservatorium von Paris ein, wo er bei Wunderlich Flöte und bei Breton Harmonielehre studierte. 1819 trat er als Lieutenant der 'Gardes du Corps' aus dem Militärdienst aus, um nur noch der Musik zu dienen. Wenn er auch nie eine feste Orchesterstelle innehatte, galt Berbiguer als hervorragender Solist und bedeutender Komponist. Die besten seiner zahlreichen Kompositionen wurden in Paris veröffentlicht. So z. B. elf Flötenkonzerte, Symphonien für zwei Flöten und Orchester, Flötensonaten, Duos, Trios, Fantasien, Variationen, Etüden und eine Flötenschule.
