Stapled Wraps. Zustand: Good Plus. Earle Bergey (cover) (illustrator). A wonderful collection of "novelets", short stories, and features. CONTENTS: As You Were (Kuttner), New Bodies for Old (Vance), The Weariest River (West); Battling Bolto (Hubbard), Spacemate (Sheldon), A Walk in the Dark (Clarke); The Round-the-World Bomber (Ley). 162 pages. CONDITION: a solid copy with bright front cover, its pages unmarked but age-toned, with an old tape-repair on the spine and its cover edges untrimmed - thus showing numerous small creases and tears (see accompanying scan image.) The spine is chipped at both ends, but without any text loss or intrusion. This remains an attractive, collectible copy - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with sturdy backing board. [NOTE: diagonal striping in the scan image in NOT the cover, but rather a scanning anomaly.
