One of 500 copies on specially made paper produced to commemorate the 2000th anniversary of Vergil's birth; unnumbered copy. Quarter bound in cream vellum with duck-egg blue boards stamped with a large "V" on both front and back. Boards are somewhat grubby and edge worn with a little loss to the edges and some cracking to the spine, but they are still impressive. Toned end papers with gift inscription on ffep. Internally very good with only the odd spot of foxing here and there.
