Zustand: Fine. Handwritten letter from SIR THOMAS POWELL BUXTON (1837-1915), dated June 26, 1894 to Townshend regarding school politics. Buxton was an English statesman and abolitionist who served as governor of South Australia (1895-1898). Dimensions: 7" x 4.5" Black Border. In fine condition with mailing fold.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Embossed brown boards and spine, the latter lettered in gilt. Internally slightly soiled pink end papers with a bookplate on front paste down. Pp 14 + (1), viii, 3-582 + (2). Clean contents.
