La traduction de l'anglais fut effectuée par L. Desmarest, directeur des Paapeteries de G. Maillet à Thiers (Puy-de-Dôme). Remarquable ouvrage ! Pas courant. Très bon état du papier; la couverture présente quelques décollements de la toile dû à d'anciennes mouillures, mais sont altéré le texte et elle a gardée toute sa couleur et sa fraîcheur.
