Reprint. Original blue cloth lettered in bronze to the spine, publisher's monogram in blind to the front panel, in dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. In the bright, clean, neatly price-clipped dustwrapper, lightly nicked to upper outer corners, with a touch of creasing to the upper spine tip. A lovely copy. Percival Vivian's edition of Campion's poems in English and Latin, first published in 1909, remains the standard critical edition of the poet's work, presenting an authoritative text (in the original spelling), substantial introduction, commentary, and scholarly apparatus.
