Ex-libary book with the usual stickers and tape, because of its age the cellophane tape has discolored and no longer secures the dustjacket to the book--also the glue that held the inlaid color plates has discolored and stained through on many of the plates. The hinge is reinforced with white library tape due to the size and weight of the book. Oversize, square format book. This is a 1967 version of the work from the famous nineteenth-century scientist and authority on color. This copy is not in good condition but it has historical significance to any student or professional designer or colorist. LCCCN: 66-24553. 256 pages. Shelf: A-6.
