Half-Leather. Zustand: Good. Dark green half leather, red leather title label, with marbled covers, oblong 242mm in length by 152mm in height. Leather crack at the top of the front spine edge and to the bottom of the rear spine edge, wear at the spine ends, rubbed on the spine. The hinges are in good order. The text is complete, there is a large ink stain on the text on sheet 189/190 (the text is still readable), smaller ink stain on 117, marginal tear to plate 40 with no loss, light browning around the plate margins. Contains 74 sheets of plates + engraved title + folding map at the rear+ a folding table and a double page table (plates complete). Pages; (2), 254, (2). Circa 1853.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Oblong 4to volume in hard paper boards with a good gold embossed spine. Boards have edge wear and text block is separated from the binding. Marbled end papers are not marked. This contains 70 engraved plates and a text plate for each also 2 plates with numbers to the rear. Also a number of unnumbered text pages. Some minor foxing and a little soiling This was a book for kids. No date could be as early as 1825.

In-8 oblong (215 x 137 mm), demi-veau violine, dos lisse orné d'un jeu de filets et dentelle dorée en pied, titre doré, (4), 16 p. et (1) p. d'introduction, 70 feuillets de planche avec 70 feuillets de texte en regard, (54) p. de tableau synoptique, 2 planches repliées en fin, titre gravé. Manuel scolaire conçu comme outil de pédagogie mnémotechnique, par l'instituteur de duc de Bordeaux Louis-Samuel Colart, illustré de 70 planches de scènes historiques. La page de titre et les 70 planches sont gravées par Ambroise Tardieu. Adressé aux "Enfants de France", ce manuel envisage tous les événements de l'histoire de Francerapportés à la Royauté et à ses représentants. Deux feuillets en fin contiennent des "étiquettes des dates [et des règnes] pour être collées sur une feuille de carton ". Tache d'encre bleue en coin des 11 premiers feuillets. Quelques rousseurs. Ex-libris manuscrit en fin "Marie de Feraporte, Marseille, 1834".
