Oversized hardcover in dark green quarter leather without dust jacket, top edge gilt, bright and clear spine gilt lettering and decoration, 544 pages; bumps and light to moderate wear to cover corners and spine ends, fore and bottom edges heavily foxed with traces of penetration to outer margins of some pages, previous owner's ink city/date and embossed stamp on first blank page, but very gently used, tight in binding although looseness developing, text pages otherwise very clean and unmarked.
