Very Good 8 1/4" x 11" perfectbound catalog in still black pictorial wraps featuring a full-color image of a Cora de Lang piece to the cover framing a die-cut 4" diameter circle through which is visible the artwork on the endpaper. Yellow lettering to front and back cover, no lettering to spine. Covers showing some very minor shelf wear and scuffing, one light crease to fore edge, else perfectly intact and tightly bound. Printed price list from this show included at the back with attached contact card for Cora de Lang, and all plates in the book have a small handwritten price at the bottom of the page, not affecting text or imagery. The book is otherwise clean, and otherwise unmarked. Bilingual text in Spansih and English. 55 pp. replete with full-color and black-and-white images of Cora de Lang and her artworks. Also includes an Introduction by Dele Jegede, PhD., an essay by Professor Wolfgang Laengsfeld, color plates, excerpts from the press and other essays, the Catalogue, a Bibliography, and Acknowledgements. Cora de Lang's work has been called, "trans-cultural" as a blend of the communities in which she has lived including Argentina, Nigeria, Germany, and Mexico. This collection was created while the artist lived in Mexico, but was thinking of Africa. This catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition of Cora de Lang's work held at the Instituto Cultural Cabanas in Guadalajara, Mexico from February to March 2002.
