Beautiful lithograph print, by Sturgess, of a race as frontis. Damp staining at top of prelims and first few pages, and some slight foxing throughout. Internally apart from the faults as describe a tight copy. A good reading copy.

Tanned pattern page edges and inside covers, name label to inside front cover, liquid stain to fore edges from page 381 to end, mild foxing to pages throughout. The binding is firm. The pages otherwise appear clean with some tanning. This book has 419 pages. All in all a nice example of this book.
