This copy of L'Escrime dans l'Armée has been bound to preserve the original pictorial wrappers, and bears a presentation inscription from the author: "A Mr. H. de Villeneuve, Président de la société d'Engr de l'Escrime Bien affectueux souvenir Dérué Paris le 1 de Fevrier 1890".
