Book in fair condition: covers bumped at corners; an inclination to foxing throughout; some smudge-type marks in a few places; a previous owner's identifying letter at lower right of front pastedown; the rubber stamp on the copyright page; foxing marks on top edge of the text block. Jacket poor: covers marked and corners damaged; spine discoloured, damaged towards bottom and with the library label half-attached; a few marks internally; not price-clipped.

A deeply religious man, he believed the best way to glorify God was by playing bright cricket.
