Many agents that had thought of selling some other life of General Sherman have become convinced that ours is the best. Therefore, see that every book that you buy or sell has on its title page - "Life and Reminiscences of Sherman, by Distinguished Men of his Time." See Nevins, CWB, Vol. II, p. 56 "A very brief and highly superficial account of Sherman's life, with reminiscences and tributes added by men who knew him." It has a discard stamp but no other markings to indicate that it is an x-library copy. One of the pages used to record subscriptions has the penciled names of several members of the same family. Minor wear to tips of the spine. One corner lightly bumped. Previous signature on fep that has been erased; still a very nice copy.
