Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 330pp/290pp., with pp. 257-277 of Vol. II bound upside down and in reverse order, but no pages missing. Volume I (1975) : no ISBN; errata slip attached inside rear flyleaf; dark blue cloth with red lettering; dark blue endpapers, with 1/4" tear and tiny missing piece of blue endpaper at inner lower hinge; dustwrapper with dark blue background across top of front cover, with white lettering superimposed, and an antique black and gray illustration of a moon-like surface, with a cream and black illustration of a drawing room model of the earth and attached moon superimposed; shelfwear across top of spine and at corners, superficial (does not pierce dw) vertical scratch down rear cover blue about an inch away from rear cover left edge; spine sunned lightly, so the gray is light green-tinged, but lettering is still bright and readable. Vol. II (1983): medium blue cloth with brown lettering; errata slip not attached, as in Vol. 1, but laid in; series citation material which appears as half-title page verso in Vol I appears on inside cover of Vol. II, with no ffep or half-title page in Vol. II; a superficial, small (1/2") abrasive tear of pastedown on inside rear cover, now flat, with very minor impact, ostensibly a blemish caused at time of book manufacturing; spine is sunned across the lower spine edge and for 1/4" and a mite onto front cover's lower left gutter; dustwrapper is light purple across the top portion and and gray below, with white title lettering superimposed upon the light purple and an illustration of a drawing room telescope superimposed upon a page of text superimposed upon the gray; some wear across top edges and at spine corners and top corners, with virtually no wear to lower edges and corners, suggesting dw riding too high on book, for the minor sunning to occur and the slight folding inward across top edges of dw. Both dustwrappers now in mylar which forgives sins mightily. No previous owner names in either volume; no other writing in texts or on edges.
