On publishers' preface page xiii in the outer margin there is what appears to be an ink spot about 1/4 of an inch high. Otherwise book would grade as new or better. This 91st Lakeside Classic gives one a vision of an amazing five year period where California was changed into a multi-national melting pot of thousands and won independence from Mexico and was admitted into the Union. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
