Stapled (lacking cover). Zustand: Very Good Minus. Peters # 4417. A masterful example of the Baroque dance suite - by the genre's supreme Master. It closes with the well-known, delightful, flute-showcasing Badinerie. MOVEMENTS: [French] Overture; Rondeau; Sarabande; Bourree I; Bourree II; Polonaise-Double; Menuet; Badinerie. 23+7+5+4+4+4+4+11 pages. (Text material, including editor Kurt Soldan's Foreword is in German only). CONDITION: Overall "Near Very Good". All components of this complete set - the full score (lacking the standard light green Peters Edition cover), flute, violin I, violin II, viola, cello, bass, and cembalo parts - are unmarked and uncreased - but they have been subjected to water incursion and consequently show moderate discoloration (mainly in the outer margins) that does not obscure notation legibility. (The string parts can be readlily duplicated for performance.) This remains a respectable, useful set - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
