Exhibition catalog plus a photocopy of a New York Times review of the exhibition in Philadelphia. Published in conjunction with the exhibition The Sigmund Freud Antiquities: Fragments From a Buried Past. 192 pages. Introduction by Peter Gay, essays by Donald Kuspit, Ellen Handler Spitz, Martin S. Bergmann, Wendy Botting, and J. Keith Davies on various aspects of Freud's life and work. Freud, 1856-1939, was the originator of the psychoanalytic method of psychotherapy and a major contributor to 20th century medical thought and knowledge of mental health issues.
