Dust jacket has small chips and tears to corners with modest wear, back cover with several modest smudges. still clean and presentable, now protected in an archival cover.

All first edition DJ points present: $6.95 price, 1065 at foot of front flap, and correct bio lengths for all three contributors.

DOES have original dust jacket which is rare for this first edition. 1965 First Edition published by Harper & Row, Publishers (New York). Dust jacket does have some shelf wear and has been taped in spots; however, it is fully intact. The book itself with the prized drawings and lithographs by Maurice Sendak is in very good condition. One tiny 2 cm nick on the bottom black cloth cover where the board is showing; otherwise in VERY GOOD condition. Interior of the book is in FINE condition.
