Some general wear from playing and handing to all of the records that may partially affect playback but it is particularly present on the first record (17417-D), overall a very good set in a very good album with quarter cloth and illustrated paper boards and six unpr…inted paper sleeves bound in, there's edgewear and rubbing to the boards, and the first sleeve has a stamp reading "Feb 17 1949. A.B.C. Supply Co." with "1519" stamped in black underneath, lacking the booklet. MM 375 (17417-D to 17422-D). Actress Edith Evans reads classic poetry including that of William Wordsworth, Lewis Carroll, William Shakespeare, and several others. We know of a variant of the American release with a different case though we know of no precedence. An uncommon set complete in box.
