Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. 6 x 9.25in. xxix. 293pp. Publisher's cloth boards. Signed and inscribed by a descendant of Burnham's on the front endpaper: "To Patricia, Love Gayle Burnham Jan., 1984." Interestingly, a former owner bookplate has had the name crossed out and a small drawing above the bookplate artist's signature effectively renders a small pyre "burning up" the artist. NEAR FINE. Shows the slightest hint of shelf rubbing along the edges, endpapers lightly toned, else Fine/As New. As pictured.
