Chapter five deals with different aspects of fertilization while chapter six deals with development and structure of endosperm. A detailed account of apomixis in Poaceae has been given in chapter eight. Polyembryony has been described in chapter nine. The last chapter deals with the embryology in relation to taxonomy and phylogeny of Poaceae. Four exhaustive tables have been given where details of each and every species are tabulated.
