Hardcover in Dust Jacket. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fine. Limited Edition. Folio. Unpaginated. Illustrated with 20 plates, each featuring a woodcut. depicting landmarks and relics of early Western settlement. Slight offsetting to front and rear endpapers from dust jacket flaps. In the dust jacket. Both book and dust jacket quite fresh. Fowler created the works in her pursuit of an MFA at Willamette University. Very much a Frank McCaffrey production. McCaffrey's book design is usually marked by either a lingering, perhaps outdated, element of Victoriana, using colored paper and floral effect to a nostalgic fault, or an enthusiastic, and often accomplished, embrace of streamline sans-serif design. This volume is a combination of both. A superb copy with no detracting qualities whatsoever to either book or dust jacket. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
