Spine ends chipped. Bottom corner chipped off page xi (text unaffected). Lots of spotty, light stains and other blemishes scattered throughout the text, but otherwise, no notes or underlining. Rear endpapers torn and covered in pencil scribbles. Binding secure. Bishop Fenelon (1651-1715) was an advocate for women's education. Measures approx. 6.75" x 4.25".
