Some light sunning to spine of jacket, with nicking and bumping to spine ends. Some light wear to top corners of front and rear folds of jacket. Dustjacket, which has been price clipped, is now protected in a mylar cover. Light rubbing to tail of spine of book. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown and name in pencil on front free endpaper. Interior otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding sound. This copy was originally owned by Rockwell D. Hunt, who was a professor of history at the University of Souther California and the University of the Pacific. Hunt wrote several books on the history of California, and was named 'Mr. California' by Governor Goodwin Knight in 1954. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
