Swoyer, Curator of Art. The gorgeous dust jacket is glossy with a color illustration of a Florida river scene on front. Volume II: The thicker of the two books, issued in green cloth with bright gilt titles, with blue-tinted endpapers of village street scene. Foreword by Theodore E. Stebbins. 360 pages with full color plates. The dust jacket has a stunning color-illustration of a horseman and woman on a trail near the ocean. There is a minor crease to the front flap of Volume II. Both volumes contained in publisher's original, glossy, sturdy slipcase with same color-illustrations on sides as both dust jackets.
