Contains publisher's original advertisements to the rear. Known for his wit, George Colman the Younger's was a popular figure during his lifetime. His comedy embraced both the coarse and the sentimental, as exhibited by his collection of poems, ballads and anecdotes. This particular collection also contains a short biograhy by Buckstone to the beginning. In the publisher's original red cloth. Externally, a couple of marks and slight fading to boards, heavier to the spine. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities. Minor rubbing to joints and edges.
