In the 1920s Kinopechat, the Soviet state publishing house for cinema published a series of booklets focusing on the popular foreign film actors of the day. Each pamphlet was published with striking constructivist cover, designed by different artists, the cover of this brochure was created by Evgeny Golshtein. . Light brown stains to cover, old price in ink to rear. Overall in fine condition. In publisher's illustrated wrappers.

Original vintage circus poster promoting a magician performance by Mikhail Oshel Illusion Manipulator featuring a colourful design depicting a stage framed by patterned yellow, black and red curtains with props for the magic show including the aces of playing cards with gold coins, hoops and confetti against the purple background, a dove flying out of a top hat and a golden bucket above purple shaded clouds of smoke billowing up from the stage floor, and outline of a hand in white over the image with the bold title text above in red lettering and below in blue with the logo of a trapeze artist below a Soviet star emblem.
