Stapled Wraps. First Edition, First Printing. Unpaginated [pp. 24]. Oblong 8vo., measuring 22 x 29.5 cm. Light blue, twice-stapled, textured card covers. Small illustration of a plane in flight with navy-blue lettering to the front cover. Excepting a short foreword, it is chiefly comprised of a series of twenty black-and-white aerial images capturing the city of Winnipeg in the early part of the last century. Lightest rubbing to the extremities, some light wear along the edges, contents remain clean, and unmarked with tight, sound stapled binding. Overall, very good. Rare in commerce. See Peel Citation No. 5966. Corresponds to OCLC #56528976 indicating only three institutional holdings at time of cataloguing. The Winnipeg Free Press takes pleasure in presenting this series of aerial photographs of the city of Winnipeg and surrounding suburbs, taken by Burt Gresham, staff cameraman-reporter, during the fall of 1935.
