Published within Marvellously Revolting Recipes (inspired by the stories of Roald Dahl) (Puffin, 2023) on page 75 where it illustrates the recipe of "Vita-Wonk" (from Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator). The full caption reads "When each chocolate ball is completely set, brush with the lustre powder and sprinkle with the edible glitter (if using)". Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes by Felicity Dahl was first published in 1994. It was "an interpretation of some of the scrumptious and wonderfully disgusting dishes which appear in Roald's books". Roald Dahl's Even More Revolting Recipes followed in 2001. Over 20 years later a new volume, Marvellously Revolting Recipes, was published which featured 26 new recipes together with 12 old favourites from previous books The present illustration is original artwork from that book. Mini Grey (b. 1965) is a British illustrator and writer of children's books. She won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2007 for The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon. Other awards include the 2005 Boston Globe-Horn Book Award for Traction Man is Here, and the 2004 Nestlé Smarties Book Prize for Biscuit Bear. Original drawing (215 x 150 mm) on card (270 x 185 mm).
