All corners are showing a lot of board, bottom edges very worn. Spine title labels are missing as well as the head and foot of the spine. Textblock edges are lightly marbled, quite darkened with age. Hinges are very worn and rubbed, will need extremely careful handling. Interior text has darkened with age, tight in binding. Grieb was a Christian Socialist who inspired the utopian thinker Charles Fourier. In Paris of the '30s - in the crucible of new, even utopian ideas; between thousands of political refugees - was enthusiastic about the ideas of early Grieb socialist Charles Fourier. While in London, Grieb developed a new German-English dictionary, because he knew that English would be the language of the future.
