Map and 20 large Gelatin silver photographs, each preserved in an acetate pocket with typed captions for each photo. Photos average 10 ¼ in. x 13 ¼ in. The photos show work done by the Liberia Mining Co. in the late 1940s. From the collection of William G. Mather (1857-1951), a Cleveland, Ohio-based book collector and world traveler. A rare item in excellent condition.
