The publication of thjs map was arranged by Capt Robert Melville Grindlay, who gained considerable fame as a prolific artist of Western India while being in the army, mainly stationed in the Bombay Presidency Condition: Engraved map, contemporary outline coloring, sectionalized and laid carefully on linen, marbled endpapers; with mileage distance triangle and tables, some soiling and minor staining, small holes where old folds cross, overall in good to very good condition, 97 x 66.5 cm A beautiful, collector's item.
