Vintage insert poster from the 1953 film. Loosely based on chapters 9 through 11 of Mark Twain's semi-autobiographical "Roughing It." Mark Stevens is lawman and killer Jack Slade, who's committed himself to ridding society of outlaws after seeing his father gunned down at age thirteen. Followed by the 1955 sequel "The Return of Jack Slade," directed by Harold D. Schuster and starring John Ericson and Mari Blanchard. 14 x 35.75 inches, folded as issued. Very Good plus, with a faint crease to the top right corner, some light rubbing and tiny chipping to the lower left margin.
