Pictorial Hard Boards. Zustand: Good. Illustrated with 8 full page colour plates and numerous line drawings throughout the text. Cloth spine with pictorial front board. Rubbing to the edges and corners of the boards. Slight splitting to the front inner hinge, with the front board being slightly shaken only. Foxing to the title page and to the periphery of other pages, in no way affecting the text of the book. A 2 cm area of loss to the periphery of one page and a couple of other pages have slight tears with no loss, not affecting the text. Slight creasing to a few page corners. Otherwise a good copy of this book.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. Barbara Freeman (illustrator). No Date (1951). Hardback: 8 full page colour illustrations + b/w text pictures by BARBARA C. FREEMAN, covers are slightly rubbed on the edges, corners worn, small area on the front peeled, cloth spine is a little faded, inscription on the title page crossed out + some creasing on the lower inside fold, first and last text pages are darkened, a few short tears and other marks throughout, still vg. 4to. Other stories: What the Old Man does is always right - The Darning-Needle - The Shepherdess and the Chimney-Sweep.
