Stein…beck's Pulitzer Prize winning novel of the Great Depression first appeared only the year before this Limited Editions Club edition, which remains notable for the beautiful lithographs commissioned from Benton, the smaller than usual printing, and the unusual and fitting rawhide and grasscloth binding.
